Let’s Meet Let’s

The Megavan’s narrator is the family’s trusty red minivan whose name is Let’s… or at least that’s what he thinks his name is based on what the family usually says around him (“Let’s go!”, “Let’s stop in here.”, ”Let’s get there fast!”). 

Let’s is endlessly loyal to his family and is determined to do (or become) anything they need.  In an early page in the book, Let’s rises to the occasion to become a race car when Mom is in labor with their first child. 

The incredible Kevin Cannon took this page’s illustration well beyond what I could imagine and it’s become one of my favorites.
